Appreciating all of the everyday heroes that keep our world turning.
Lyrics
Unseen Heroes
Words and Music by Erik Swerrie
He stocks the grocery shelves, working all night,
She rings us up with a smile,
They drive the trucks that form the line of supply,
And we barely see them go by
They plant the fields, They bring in the produce,
Through the sun and the rain,
They raise the livestock, and they milk the cows,
Without them life could not be the same,
I guess sometimes, it takes a little a shake up,
To wake us up, so everybody knows,
The reason why our world is still turning,
So, we appreciate and thank those, Unseen Heroes
She teaches little ones to read and to write,
Future scientists and engineers,
And in those times when we're not feeling right,
They're here to help our bodies to heal
They bring us water, and they keep the lights on,
'N he recycles what we don't need,
Just imagine that without each and all,
Where would we be?
I guess sometimes, we all need a shake up,
To wake us up, so everybody knows,
The reason why our world is still turning,
So, we appreciate and thank those, Unseen Heroes
And when the world falls down, they step up to fight,
The medics, fire, peace officers... and military, who hold those thin lines
I guess sometimes, we all need a shake up,
To wake us up, so everybody knows,
The real reason that our world keeps on turning,
So, we appreciate and thank those,
Yeah, sometimes it seems we all need a shake up,
To wake us up, so everybody knows,
The reason why our world is still turning,
So, we appreciate and thank those, Unseen Heroes
Yeah, we appreciate and thank you, Unseen Heroes,
Unseen Heroes
